The Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair will take place for the 28th time between Monday 3 and Wednesday 5 February 2014. An unmissable event for buyers of Loire Valley wines, the trade fair organises and promotes meetings between wine professionals from France and abroad and 500 exhibitors from the Loire Valley.

Exclusively dedicated to a single wine region, the Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair is an opportunity to discover or rediscover all the Loire Valley’s appellations: red, rosé or white, dry or sweet, still or sparkling. The 83 Appellations and PGIs that make this the 3rd largest wine region in France will all be represented.

The Loire Valley Wine Trade Fair is now one of the major European wine events. The Trade Fair is ready to welcome an expected 9,000 visitors from France and abroad.


The Espace de Libre Dégustation (free wine-tasting area)

About 700 samples are expected, more than enough to create a delightful à la carte programme!
This year, it comes with a mobile site so that you can directly access the presentation of each wine that is being tasted.

The Concours des Ligers and Palais des Ligers: taste the very best the Loire has to offer!

The 20th Concours des Ligers is launched !

The competition will take place before the Loire Valley Wine Fair, on Sunday 2 February.

Over 2,400 wines are tasted each year, and about 25% of medals are awarded : Ligers d’Or, d’Argent, de Bronze.

Tasting, in the Palais des Ligers, of the Ligers d’Or produced by the prize-winning exhibitors of the Concours des Ligers. They will each be accompanied by their data sheet and the number of their stand.
